General Purpose
Proactively plans and performs advancednetwork optimization activities requiring knowledge in 2G and 3G areas or on a system level to service the customer. Prioritizes work based on customer impact, and brings expertise to customer site on need basis.
Main Responsibility Area
Manages and monitors day-to-day operations of the radio optimization network to ensure that network performances are meeting the KPI’s. Directs the work efforts of Optimization Engineers. Optimize the Radio network for the network to ensure optimal performance of the Radio access network. Deals with customer complaints and ensures resolution. Ensure network infrastructure is capable of handling projected customer needs.
Position Description
- Uses resources at his disposal to ensure RAN KPI's are within targets as defined in the contract
- Develops new techniques or processes for RAN optimization
- Guides and mentors Junior Engineers in various aspects of RAN optimization
- Maintains internal and external SLA's or OLA's and ensures targets are delivered
- Supports in preparation and review of weekly/monthly KPI's as defined in the contract
- Ensures good understanding of MS contract and participates actively in compliance
Position Requirements
- Excellent MS office skills including development of macros
- Able to handle, prioritize, multiple projects simultaneously
Able to operate in a performance driven organisation
- Excellent Knowledge of English
