Role Overview
The Customer Care Department is the first-line resolution centre for any and all issues that may come through from Bridge’s more than 4,000 academy staff, parents, community members, and many more. The Customer Care Manager is the leader of this team, and should have a deep understanding of the structure and operations of the business and willingness to learn as the company is continuously growing and evolving. The Customer Care Manager is responsible for managing a team of more than 30 Customer Care associates to ensure operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
  1. Performance Management: Setting and evaluating team members’ performance against specific targets for speed, accuracy, efficiency, sales and quality; and improving performance by increasing efficiency and maximizing productivity.
  2. Team Management: Coaching, motivating and retaining staff and coordinating bonus, reward and incentive schemes; identifying training needs and planning training sessions; organising staffing, including shift patterns and the number of staff required to meet demand.
  3. Managing the daily running of the Customer Care Department: Monitoring inbound and outbound calls to improve quality, minimise errors, and track operative performance; recording statistics, user rates and the performance levels of the centre and preparing reports.
  4. Client Management: Liaising with supervisors, team leaders, academy staff, operatives and third parties to gather information and resolve issues; handling the most complex customer complaints or enquiries.
Education and Qualifications
  • BA/Bsc in Marketing, Project Management, Business Management or any related field.
  • At least 3-4 years Customer Care experience, Customer Service or help desk support.
  • 5+ years of management experience preferably in a call centre managing both inbound and outbound calls.

THE POSITION
Reporting to the Group Chief Business Officer Kenya, the Head of Investment Banking will establish and
manage KCB Bank Group’s Investment Banking unit to enable the Bank attain market leadership position
in Investment Banking within the region in line with the Bank’s overall strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 Lead the development and implementation of KCB’s investment banking unit business plan including
development of strategies, client segmentation, marketing plans, and execution criteria
 Generation of revenues for the Corporate Banking division from debt capital market transactions.
 Drive the business into a lead arranger role for debt capital markets deals across the region.
 Drive the expansion of the corporate finance/investment banking business by identifying and
developing new areas of growth.
 In conjunction with the corporate banking team leverage off the bank’s customer base in order to
originate debt capital markets mandates.
 Development of financing structures that are responsive to customers’ needs.

THE PERSON
For the above position, the successful applicants should have the following minimum qualifications:
 Bachelors’ degree in a Finance, Business, Investment or Economics related field. A post graduate
degree and/or qualification such as Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent will be an
added advantage.
 Minimum 10 years relevant experience in progressive positions in investment banking. Structured
and/or corporate finance or loan syndications in a dynamic financial institution or in management
consulting. Experience of at least 2 years in a senior management position such as Vice President or
Director will be a plus.
 Proven ability to pursue and secure corporate finance transactions in the corporate and public sectors.
 Experience in execution of debt capital market transactions including selection of target banks, book
building, negotiation of documentation, and closing arrangements.
 Strong analytical & economic research skills.
 Experience in leading and managing teams in an investment banking environment.
 Strong communication and negotiation skills.
 Sound understanding of local legal, tax, regulatory rules in the capital markets area.
 Ability to demonstrate extensive client networks in the East African region will be a plus.

Key Role: Development of sales and marketing of LPG in Kenya through providing know how on

Reporting to the LPG Sales Manager, the successful candidate’s principal

accountabilities will include:

 Ensuring that all analytical and non-analytical processes undertaken in daily lab

 Higher Diploma in Analytical Chemistry.  Two years hands-on experience in a busy Process Control or Quality Assurance
Lab, with emphasis on analytical skills and safety practices.

    1. Pastoralist Livelihood Diversification Advisor

    This position is based on award of funding.

    Program / Department Summary:

    The Pastoralist Livelihood Diversification Advisor will play a key leadership role in the implementation of a proposed five-year $32 million + program to support increased resiliency and incomes for pastoralist communities in Ethiopia.

    General Position Summary:

    The Livelihood Diversification will lead components of the program focusing on diversifying vulnerable and chronically populations’ household assets and/or integrated into value chain activities.

    The individual will work closely with the Deputy Chief of Party/ Pastoral Livestock Production and Marketing Advisor, counterparts with other donor funded programs, and other private sector actors in designing and implementing innovative livelihood diversification approaches.
