Sales Leader-Ultrasound

In this role, Sales Leader will be responsible for a limited geographic region or a limited industry or product segment, and managing the activities of first-line sales managers or activities of Sales Account Managers. Also, this position is responsible for attaining sales objectives for their geography, managing the direct sale of the organization’s products or services in a limited geographic region, or responsible for a limited industry or product line on a geographic basis.
  • Directly managing sales team (Sales Generalists) in a specific channel sales region. Select, train, and develop personnel to optimize effectiveness
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to drive organic growth in the Equipment Sales market and or Consumables
  • Cultivating and leveraging customer relationships at the executive level
  • Development of long-term customer relationships through the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities that immediately satisfy customer needs
  • As a member of senior leadership team ensuring seamless teamwork with the Service and other channels to provide total customer satisfaction
  • Deploying resources to meet financial / operating objectives including orders, revenue, contribution margin, and base cost control
  • Manages a team of direct reports (mainly Account Managers, but could also include Inside Sales, Sales Specialists and/or Sales support resources)

The General Services Office (GSO) has an opening for the position of a Storekeeper. The position will be available immediately.

Minimum Requirementsà Completion of high school is required.
à At least two years of progressively responsible in warehouse property management experience in a property supply program with a USG agency is required.
à Level III English ability is required. Kiswahili Level IV ability also required.


Other Criteria:

à Must have good working knowledge of Department of State property management policies and procedures and associated agencies property record keeping.
à Must be skilled in handling and arranging furniture and equipment in the warehouse.
à Must be able to supervise laborers in the store room and warehouse.
à Must have ability to manage stock and organize placement of property safely sequence.


Job Specification
BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION

Serves as one of the three storekeepers in the Warehouse. Works under the direct supervision of the Supply Supervisor and general supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, incumbent is responsible for receiving, storing and issuing expendable and non–expendable supplies in the storerooms and warehouse.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES % OF TIME


Operate and manage warehouse stores. Manages the warehouse supply storage and distribution service. Ensure correct separation of stock where required, and identification of all stock regardless of location within the warehouse. Assess organization, layout and access issues on an ongoing basis and review annually with the GSO. Oversee all restocking of expendable and nonexpendable supplies, materials and equipments in warehouse and supply storage areas. Maintains required records for receipt and issuance of goods from the warehouse, and ensures the supply clerks do the same. Coordinates with the receiving and NEPA clerks to ensure compatibility of records being maintained. 40%


Supervises issuing of all supplies and non-expendable items from the warehouse, on the basis of approved requisitions. Tracks stock levels and places replenishment requests with the procurement section when a re-stocking threshold is reached. Assists the Supply/Warehouse Supervisor to conduct special inventories as needed. Also aids in spot-checks of NEPA and Stock Control and that movement of goods is being recorded via DS-584 and similar appropriate documentation. 30%



Ensures protection of all warehoused goods by maintaining in original packaging, using adequate personnel and equipment for moving of goods within the warehouse and sees that all un-packaged furniture and appliances are protected with available covers, pads, etc. Ensures safety of the goods and personnel in the warehouse and supply unit by provision of any needed protective gear, clothing and equipment, and use of proper safe procedures in handling of stored materials. 20%


Conducts inventory of routine scheduled inventories of the warehouse, offices and residential properties. Helps identify damaged or excessively worn items for sale, and for any necessary fines/etc. to be considered by the property survey board prior to departure of any personnel on PCS. Helps prepare property disposal documents and assist in sale of goods by auction/sealed bid/whatever. Oversees and maintains with the assistance of the supply clerks, the inventory, condition and issue & retrieval of welcome kits for newly arriving or about depart personnel. Oversee records storage at warehouse, esp. dates for destruction and responsible section information. Performs other duties as required.

CDC Kenya Public Health Specialist (Health Information Systems) Job in Kisumu

The United States Embassy – Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Kenya has a vacancy in Kisumu for Public Health Specialist (Health Information Systems).

The incumbent will be located in Kisumu to provide technical expertise to improve health information systems in with the Ministries of Health Offices in Nyanza Province.

She/He will oversee the development and implementation of health information systems that integrate data collection, processing and reporting, including Electronic Medical Records technologies; implementation of District Health Information Systems (DHIS); and assist with other routine data systems.

S/he will support the MOH’s senior level staff and provincial/district health records and information officers on routine reporting for program monitoring and evaluation (M&E), data use and data quality.

The incumbent will support GoK and PEPFAR partners to ensure that systems developed meet national standards and can be integrated with external systems based on open standards.

S/he will also support PEPFAR partners in ensuring that the data collected by these systems can be used to improve efficiency in health service delivery, disease surveillance and timely and accurate reporting to GOK and PEPFAR.

The incumbent will also serve as the technical lead for monitoring and evaluation and health information systems strengthening activities in Nyanza Province for all HIV/AIDS and TB programs supported by CDC Kenya and its partners.

S/he will support training and mentorship of GoK and partner monitoring and evaluation officers, system developers, data managers, health records officers and other staff to ensure quality data.

In addition s/he will function as a member of the PEPFAR Strategic Information (SI) team and will oversee CDC implementing partners’ annual planning, target setting and reporting.

Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in one of the following disciplines: Public Health, Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, mathematics, Epidemiology is required.
  • Five (5) years experience in managing health information for large programs based on advanced databases technologies of which three years should be in M&E of health programs, including quantitative measures.
  • Two years of supervisory experience or oversight of contracts/partners also required.
  • Level IV (fluent) English ability is required and Level IV Kiswahili ability also required.
  • Must possess advanced knowledge of program monitoring and evaluation strategies and techniques as well as standard knowledge of HIV/AIDS, Malaria or TB programs. Must have expert knowledge of health delivery information systems, especially the application of program management and the translation of evaluation data as it pertains to the improvement of program operations, guidelines, and policies.
  • Must have advanced knowledge of electronic mapping technology platforms and possess an ability to assess their performance.
  • Must have detailed knowledge of the health care system of Kenya.
  • Must possess advanced computer skills with experience for word processing, presentations and spreadsheets.
